The New Mexico Music awards in association with Sky City Films will be offering a screenwriting seminar for veterans this fall. The program will be taught by writer/director/editor Thom Eberhardt (Night of the Comet, Without a Clue, Captain Ron) and will be free to any veteran who wishes to attend.
Thom has directed legendary actors including Academy Award winners Lauren Bacall, JK Simmons, Sir Michael Caine and Sir Ben Kingsley as well as Johnny Depp, Joe Mantegna, Kurt Russell, Martin Short, Blythe Danner, Matthew Modine, Rick Moranis and Keanu Reeves. He has produced films for PBS, Disney, Showtime and with his wife, writer and producer Christy Vasquez had learned the ins and outs of the Hollywood system.
Since moving to Santa Fe more than a decade ago, they have produced their own films as well as films for the New Mexico Music Awards. Thom continues to write scripts and Christy volunteers for Santa Fe’s Kitchen Angels.
