The New Mexico Music Awards in conjunction with Jason’s Music Publishing and The Wheels Museum of Albuquerque present a General Publishing and Copyrighting workshop on Saturday, January 18th, 2025 at the Wheels Museum, 1100 2nd St SW, Albuquerque, NM 87102 from 11:00 AM- 12:00 PM
The workshop will cover the basic aspects of copyright law and publishing concepts including local and national distribution through retail outlets for music, books and film. The workshop will be presented by Jose Antonio Ponce, producer of the New Mexico Music Awards and owner of Jason’s Music Publishing.
The workshop is free, but donations to the Wheels Museum will be accepted. The Wheels Museum is a 501(c)3 organization in the Albuquerque Rail Yards dedicated to collecting, preserving, and creating educational exhibits about the history of transportation in Albuquerque and New Mexico with emphasis on the impact on the development of the area. Collections embrace the history of the railroads, the impact of the rail yards on Albuquerque, as well as automobiles, horse and wagon, and other modes of transportation.
