Duplicate trophies are now available for purchase through the NMMA direct from the manufacturer and are sold to you at cost. Since last year, the trophies have increased in price.
Each trophy is comprised of the engraved area with logo, the black base and gold title plate. The basic award is $73.62 plus applicable tax and shipping and comes with a maximum of 40 characters per trophy included for free. Each character including spaces and punctuation above 40 characters is an additional .29 cents each. Fewer than 50 trophies ordered may cause the basic cost of the trophies to increase.
For instance, if the lettering on the trophy totals 50 characters, the cost for additional characters would be $2.90. Be advised that trophies can become quite expensive depending on the number of extra characters.
Typical trophies list the artist name, song or album title, producer name, studio name and studio city. Other trophies may list only artist/engineer/producer/writer and title and other credits as listed on your entry form. Be aware that the engraving area has a limited amount of space.
Only registered entrants may approve changes to the wording on the trophy. The NMMA logo and the name of the category on the name plate affixed to the base must remain the same. The listing on the website will remain the same.
You may share the link to the order form with anyone who wants to order a duplicate, but any changes will need to be approved by the registered entrant. You may add information like naming individual contributions and you may also remove extraneous information like only with the official registrant’s approval.
Please include the category name, number of trophies requested and the exact wording you want on the award. We will contact the registered entrant to make sure that the changes are approved. Once approved you will be invoiced for the total number of trophies. We order the trophies in bulk to keep the product and shipping costs down. You will have until June 23rd to order your trophies.
