The entry period has ended for this year’s New Mexico Music Awards. We have had a wonderful response from artists, songwriters, engineers and producers across New Mexico. Returning to the fray this year are John Wall, Roger Jameson and the Jaded Heart Band, Lara Manzanares, the Foggy Memory Boys, Flash and the Swank Brothers, Oscar Butler, Dave Heidt, JD Cox, Dr Hall, Richard Cagle and the Voodoo Choir, Leiahdoeus, Daniel Boling, Jono Manson and a host of other incredible talent.

New arrivals include Stefan, Sherry Noffke, 64 Love Machine, Seekalae’, Turquoise Street, Muna Clay, Firelily, The Stonewashed Hearts, True Story House, Robert Marcum, Molly Glasgow, Ricky Fitts and his Git, Ishi, Arien Richard and more.

We have had entries from Taos to Las Cruces, Roswell to Farmington, Las Vegas to Silver City and all points in between. Artist from Texas, Oregon, Kansas and elsewhere have come to New Mexico to record their music.

The entries will continue to be processed throughout February with preliminary judging taking place in March and finals judging happening in April. The awards presentation will take place in May of 2025 in Albuquerque.

The New Mexico Music Awards recognizes the best in music produced in New Mexico for the calendar year of 2024 in over 40 categories and we will honor someone who has advanced the music scene in New Mexico with the Eric Larson Lifetime Achievement Award, presented in memory of NMMA co-founder Eric Larson. A scholarship has been established in his name at the University of New Mexico.
