The 37th Annual New Mexico Music Awards were held at Sandia Resort & Casino in Albuquerque. This year, we had over 750 entries in 42 categories including jazz, country, western, modern rock, hip-hop, singer/songwriter and many more including the coveted Norman Petty Producer’s Award an Best of the Year.
Also honored was sideman and studio musician Robert Muller for his body of work work with notable New Mexico artists that include Hillary Smith, Entourage Jazz and Ryan Montano as well as his work with national artists Jeff East, Jeff “Skunk” Baxter, (The Doobie Brothers,) Joy Harjo, Greg Phillangaines and NEA Jazzmaster Dave Liebman.
