The New Mexico Music Awards announces a call for entries.
We are less than two weeks away from the entry deadline for the Twenty-fifth Anniversary of the New Mexico Music Awards. You will find a complete list of categories, rules, entry forms and drop off locations under the ENTER tab on this site. Mail in entries must be postmarked by January 31st, 2012 and all other entries must be dropped off at any of our drop off locations by close of buisness on February 4th, 2012. The awards will be presented at a banquet and show at the Hard Rock Hotel & Casino in Albuquerque on Sunday night, May 20th, 2012. Our primary sponsor will once be Grandma's Music & Sound. Quickbeam Systems Inc. will once again make you look and sound good with great audio and lighting. We hope to have additional sponsorships in place and a few surprise guests for our silver anniversary.

Congratulations to Shelly Morningsong on her recent Native American Music Award for her CD "Full Circle". The project took home Record of the Year honors. Mac Suazo and the Ox Boyz shared the Best Video Award with Jan Michael Looking Wolf. Also nominated was Michael Mucklow as Best Producer for the CD Ancient Elements.
