New Mexico's premiere Mariachi workshop is held annually in July at the University of New Mexico. The workshops teach the art and history of Mariachi music to kids as young a four years and on through college age students. Mariachi Spectacular features Mariachi sol de Mexico de Jose Hernandez and masters of the art including Don Jesus Rodriguez de Hijar, Rigoberto Alfaro, Miguel Martinez and Juan Pinzon. watch |
