A NOTE OF THANKS

I would like to thank all of my friends for their recognition in presenting me with the Eric Larson Lifetime Achievement Award at this year’s New Mexico Music Awards banquet. I was completely taken by surprise and I am humbled by this wonderful gesture. Eric was a man who taught me all I know about the recording industry and always helped me keep things in perspective. I miss him dearly.

I would particularly like to thank my wife, Kathy, without who the awards program would not be possible. She works tirelessly to organize the event and keep it running smoothly.

My thanks also to Mickey and Patty Patton of Grandma’s Music and Sound and Gary Matthews of Quickbeam Systems Inc. for their continued support of the program. It is wonderful to be thought of by the very professionals that I admire so much.

Additional thanks to Tom Rutherford, John Wall, Nancy Laflin, Doug and Donna Geist, Alison Shaw, all of my friends at Citadel Broadcasting and those many, many people in the music community that honor me by doing great work and making music that is worthy of recognition.

Most importantly, thanks to God for surrounding me with so many wonderful friends and to my mother and late father for always believing in me.
